![]() Overall, I would look elsewhere the next time I'm back in Boston. It's a glamorized hostel for the price of a decent Marriott hotel room. For the price I paid, it's not value for money. the aesthetics has a cool style but the practicality is very IKEA: foldable room desk and chair, hooks on wall instead of cabinets and hangers. Moreso, I could hear a couple fighting the whole afternoon in the next room (that's why they have earplugs offered in the room because they know the problem). My room has a so-so view of the city, it's facing the main street, and the rooms have poor soundproofing - I could hear the partying and the cars from the street and I am on the 10th floor. Same with the breakfast server on that day. The reception staff was not friendly, just transactional. On one day, they espresso machine was broken, so I had to take the generic coffee that's very watery. The room is small for the price, and the breakfast is a joke - you get either some small sandwich or a plate of toast. The location is good - accessible to metro, shops and landmarks. This price should be very cost-effective in the center of Boston. The room is relatively small, and the location is too good to have too much luxury. ![]() This time I was renovated and the hardware and software have been greatly improved, especially the public bathroom, which is very clean and also Enough, there is no queuing situation again. I stayed once 5 years ago and I missed this location. Diagonally opposite the hotel entrance is 7-11. There are very good pizza restaurants and many very good western restaurants. When you go out, turn right, walk a little and then turn left. The downstairs of the hotel is a good western food. Anyway, you can walk anywhere you choose to live here. Half an hour walk to the Museum of Fine Arts, Northeastern University, Quincy Market is also half an hour away. It takes less than half an hour to walk to the Charles River to cross the bridge and to MIT on the opposite bank of Cambridge, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to Chinatown. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Back Bay and 10 minutes to Central Park. If you can snag it for less than $200 per night it might be worth it, otherwise I’d skip it. ![]() In sum, this is a dirty, poorly maintained hotel in a mediocre location that does not honor any Bonvoy benefits. You’re still a one mile walk from restaurants and civilization, and Ubers were hard to come by in this area. The seaport is a nice area, but this hotel is isolated. This hotel has 700+ rooms, and you’re telling me they’re going to clean all the rooms at the exact same time so that they can’t offer later checkout? Truly pathetic. Last day requested late check out and they said “sorry, no availability” even though I am Gold. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but it is staffed by buffoons, and your wait will be 30 minutes on any given day. I stayed here during a conference and the pig slop that they tried to feed us for breakfast and lunch was atrocious. I couldn’t even rinse off my toothbrush because the water pressure was so low. The bathroom is very cramped and barely any water pressure. This is an upgrade?! The room itself is small, dirty and dated. My view was of the roof of the convention center. Booked and PAID for a CITY VIEW room and was told that I was “upgraded” upon check-in for being a good member. Conveniences include desks and microwaves, and housekeeping is provided daily.īoston | 0.71km from Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall Really poor experience at this hotel.
